how to get rid of dry, bleached hair?

how to get rid of dry, bleached hair?

Are you experiencing dry/bleached/dead hair? if so, this blog post is going to save your hair for sure! I have bleached/dyed my hair for about 3-4 times last year and it has been DEAD since then. I had the money to bleach but did not buy those fancy purple shampoo or any extra fancy hair treatment to help strengthening my hair again. Therefore it is just a mess now.

should I buy more skincare or beauty products? which one should I choose?

should I buy more skincare or beauty products? which one should I choose?

Today I am going to discuss my opinion on whether one should invest in more skincare products or makeup. This is all my own opinion which you might not agree to. I would love to share some of my thoughts on this topic since the skincare game is going much stronger than makeup these days in the beauty community.

the cheapest way to clear acne skin.

the cheapest way to clear acne skin.

No clickbait. I am serious. It is probably almost free to get clearer skin if you are someone who is dealing with acne. Of course I am not a doctor or some certified skincare expert to correct this information, however, by common sense and knowledge, I believe this is one of the most effective ways I have discovered that has helped clearing my skin, along with my skincare routine.

buy less makeup? only buy makeup that sparks joy. how to really be a smart consumer.

buy less makeup? only buy makeup that sparks joy. how to really be a smart consumer.

Today I am not doing my usual blog posts where I recommend you all products that work well with oily/combination and acne prone skin. I want to share my thoughts on the notion of “buying/wearing less makeup”. I think when it comes to the beauty industry, it is obviously the ‘heaven’ to all the beauty lovers out there but it can really be seen as a massive trap which attracts us as consumers to purchase a lot of unnecessary impulsive buys. Everytime when I go into Mecca (Australia’s leading beauty retailer) or Sephora, I would somehow manage to come out of the store with 1+ item(s) even though I am really broke ~ bank account is crying ~ I have caught myself doing this for a while now and it needs to be stopped. I am just like you, one of the ‘victims’, always buying similar products or stuff that are not going to be used for long.

my current skincare routine

my current skincare routine

Today is my 20th birthday yay! but unfortunately I am not feeling well. I thought what could be a better way to have a chillax day than blogging and watching some YouTube videos since I am not going to uni today. I am going to share my most current skincare routine with you and obviously I love all the products I have mentioned so I won’t be going into too much detail justifying why I like them one by one. I will be sharing what I do first to last in my skincare routine. This will be helpful for all girls and boys out there, especially oily/combination skin and blemish skin. If you have drier skin or so, you can simply replace the products with your own desired ones.

raw review: FLUFF

raw review: FLUFF

Today I am back from my recent Melbourne trip, it was like a little getaway and plus visiting my closest friend Zoe who is studying in Melbourne University. One of the places I wanted to visit when I was over there was definitely the Fluff Casual Cosmetics‘ Studio at Fitzroy. I have been their biggest fan since the beginning of this year when I found it via Shelby’s instagram page. Also, I want to start a blog series called “raw review” which I will be reviewing brands with unpaid and most genuine thoughts on their products. Everything I will be showing today and in the future will be products that are bought by my own money.

Click the little “read more” tab to check out Fluff’s products and my own experience, and most importantly, is it worth it?
