Today I am back from my recent Melbourne trip, it was like a little getaway and plus visiting my closest friend Zoe who is studying in Melbourne University. One of the places I wanted to visit when I was over there was definitely the Fluff Casual Cosmetics‘ Studio at Fitzroy. I have been their biggest fan since the beginning of this year when I found it via Shelby’s instagram page. Also, I want to start a blog series called “raw review” which I will be reviewing brands with unpaid and most genuine thoughts on their products. Everything I will be showing today and in the future will be products that are bought by my own money.

If you follow me on Instagram or a close friend of mine, you would already know my crazy obsession of FLUFF. I love what they are doing for girls in our/next generation; they are trying to focus on the idea of ‘less makeup’ which is a fantastic idea I would say because it encourages young women and men to embrace who they are and accept their own skin. FLUFF is a casual cosmetic brand that embracing the natural face of the girls and boys; it is like a foundation line but without selling an actual foundation. I have always believed in ‘less makeup’ and when I found them out, I was over the moon and actually quickly got myself around the FLUFF bronzing powder. I discovered them when I was at the stage which I was not inspired by any makeup products in the market and they were just repeating beauty stuff we all had seen such as a blinding highlighter and a full coverage foundation, etc. I just did not feel like buying anything from the beauty industry. FLUFF came in the perfect time of my life and it gave me motivation to get back into doing makeup and enjoying this side of me. I was lucky enough to get a lot of their products over the months, visited their studio and went to the bronzer swap at Sydney as well. I am telling you I am probably one of their biggest fan. The reason I am writing this post is to share something everyone would love. Be mindful, you will be blown away by how beautiful and luxury it is, both in person and on the camera. FLUFF bronzing powder is just their most iconic product, they also designed a brush for the powder and other FLUFF merchandise for people to enjoy.
When I was over in Melbourne, I bought their tee with words “I’m Prettier Now That I Don’t Care”, which is designed by Shelby (popular blogger) who was a very lovely girl I met at the studio. She had the warmest smile and definitely super friendly, so if you ever have the opportunity to go around Melbourne, be sure to DM them on instagram to see if they are in the office, they are more than welcome for you to shop by.
The bronzer does not have any shimmer to it which is awesome because I love a soft matte look as I have oily/combo skin. I am sure this would be an awesome setting powder for those with a darker complexion. It is super lightweight and of course it is free from lots of nasty ingredients such as palm oil. I usually put this under my cheekbones and over my nose to give a sun-kissed illusion. I wish everyday of the year could be summer. haha. The compact itself is very heavy and luxury, you really need to feel one in real life and you will be amazed. The mirror effect on the packaging is so funky and it is sending me some alien vibes haha.
Why I love this to death? It is really because of the cute promotions they do on instagram and the whole entire idea of the ‘less makeup’ is just wonderful. It is very natural on skin and for someone who did not really own any bronzers before and did not believe in contouring, this bad boy is changing my view on bronzing and boosting up my confidence.
Fluff is: a paper weight, a friend, a compact, a bronzer, a setting powder, a cloud, a ‘no foundation’ powder
The brush is wonder, it is soft, bright and out there. It is an awesome beauty tool if you are missing some fresh brushes. This little guy completes the FLUFF bronzer. I initially only bought the bronzer, but due to the amazing result, I had to get other products too. It also has the mirroring effect which makes it super artsy and luxury.
I also got some stickers for free and the magic 8 ball which is just a fun little something for me to play with when I have some ‘serious’ life decisions to make haha.
